Introduction to goal
The goal area is often mistakenly called the small penalty area by the fans (the misunderstanding of the fans due to the wrong guidance of the explanation, there is no such provision in the rules. Literally, this area has nothing to do with the ban, but it is related to the goal kick, so from the international rules to the goal area district name)
Goal action
In the case of a goal kick, the defending team kicks the ball after it is set at any point in the goal area.
If the referee drops the ball at the place where the ball was when play was stopped, and if it is suspended within the goal area, in this case, the ball shall be dropped on the goal area line parallel to the goal line and at the position closest to the ball when play was stopped.
When an indirect free kick is to be taken within the goal area, it shall be taken on the goal area line parallel to the goal line which is closest to the point of the foul.
Note: Goalkeepers do not have special protection rights within the goal area. A goalkeeper is just an ordinary player with a touchable hand inside the penalty area. Foul rules apply according to the terms stated, no other special rights
