Grip or strap

The entire vehicle comes with a grip or handlebar. However, the comfort and durability of the grips or straps that come with the vehicle needs to be examined. If the mountain bike comes with a foam grip, it is recommended to replace it with an ergonomic grip and attach a secondary grip before traveling.

Vice handle

The sub-bars we introduce here do not include road bike rest bars and TT bars. The vice handle, also known as "horn handle" (long and curved) or "claw handle" (shorter and straighter), is installed on both ends of the straight handle of mountain bikes, and there are also a small number of swallow handles installed with vice handle.

It is recommended to install a vice handle. because:

First, install the vice handle, which can change the posture during riding.

Second, it is easier to pull the car to exert force when climbing a hill.

Third, it plays a certain protective role in the event of an accidental crash.

As for the installation angle of the vice handle, usually the handle is forward and upward.

pedals

If the original pedal is made of rubber or hard plastic, it is recommended to replace it with aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy before long-distance riding. Bearing-type pedals or ball-type pedals can be used. The slightly wider version has teeth and nails on the surface. Or with a stop screw, it is not easy to slip during riding. It is not recommended to wear locking shoes for long-distance riding, so it is not recommended to install self-locking pedals.
